My angel

This is my angel. It will hang on my Christmas tree and remind me that even in the darkest places, where poverty seeps into the very essence of a community, hope can still shine.

My angel is being held by it’s creator, at the Community Development facility I visited in the Crossroads township of Cape Town, South Africa.

Poverty and injustice may be tyrannical, but tyranny can be quietly overthrown, as we help communities to rebuild, one life at a time.
